WHO'S IN THE KITCHEN

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working Administrative Assistant to join the Blue Apron team in our Richmond office!  Reporting to the Manager of Workforce Planning, this individual will be responsible for supporting the Richmond Leadership team as well as assisting the Office Manager by maintaining an exceptionally tidy and efficient office at all times.  The ideal candidate is a friendly and proactive self-starter where no tasks are too big or too small.

WHAT'S ON THE MENU

  • Support Fulfillment Center Office Management with day-to-day administrative tasks including, but not limited to: calendar coordination, meeting preparation, organizing travel and accommodations, expense submission.

  • Meet/Greet external guests and visitors

  • Coordinate in-­house events (i.e. weekly office happy hours, catered meetings, All Hands meetings, etc.) 

  • Support Office Manager, to ensure that quality standards for employees and guests in Richmond are maintained.  

  • Serve as the point person for employees and building management in Richmond for office related needs. Communicate requests to the Office Manager and administer coordination to ensure that there is a quick resolve.

  • Maintain organizational systems for receiving packages, storage, conference room management, guest coordination. 

  • Distribute mail and packages.

  • Support Office Manager with repair, service, and functionality of office equipment.   

  • Assist with maintaining and organizing inventory of all office supplies and grocery.   

  • Monitor stock levels.

  • Manage seating charts and assist with overall seating.  

  • Coordinate new hire workstation setups.

  • Proactively make suggestions with regards to cleaning, organization and office improvements

  • Coordinate and manage key vendor relationships (i.e. car service, catering, etc.)

  • Coordinate with Corporate Security as needed and outlines in security procedure requirements  

  • AD HOC projects as required

NECESSARY INGREDIENTS

  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment

  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills and an extraordinary attention to detail

  • Ability to project manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Self-starter who can take initiative and power through ambiguity
