The Project Engineer will be an integral member of the corporate engineering team. This team is responsible for identifying inefficiencies in our Fulfillment Centers, and providing optimal solutions for savings and growth. The Project Engineer will leverage their engineering know-how and project management skills to successfully execute and deliver projects to the business.  


The ideal candidate must be able to independently drive initiatives while coordinating efforts with multiple stakeholders. He/She is an expert communicator and can work with people at all levels of business. Our Fulfillment Centers are extremely flexible, and our business is always innovating. Therefore, the Project Engineer must be a results driven self-starter. 



  • Seek and apply appropriate technology to gain and sustain a technical competitive advantage.
  • Own the complete capital project lifecycle from design through performance qualification. Ensure delivery of assigned objectives for scope, time, and budget.
  • Leverage technical and business expertise to improve systems, products, and technologies.
  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills through the use of continuous improvement techniques. Show thorough understanding of the interactions between machine, materials, methods, environment, and people to provide robust operating systems.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 5 - 7 years of capex project experience in a comparable technical position - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry. Experience implementing packaging equipment such as VFFS, flow wrappers, and tray sealers is a plus.
  • Excellent track record of owning complete lifecycle of capital projects.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles - process, packaging, electrical, and construction.
  • Expert in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
  • Keen sense of value and business instincts.
  • Strong communication skills with audiences at various levels, ranging from non-technical senior leadership and Fulfillment Center maintenance staff.
  • Approximately 30-60% travel requirement depending on project demands.
