WHO'S IN THE KITCHEN

We're looking for an innovative, results and process driven recruiter to join our team. In this highly visible position, you will focus on recruitment support for hourly and salaried associates, at varying levels, across the business.

 

WHAT'S ON THE MENU

  • Accountable for sourcing, hiring and on-boarding all hourly associates within the recruiting targets and timelines identified

  • Own the recruiting process through entire candidate life cycle (hourly & salaried)

  • Complete and regularly update all candidate tracking and internal communication on the HR/Recruiting dashboard

  • Brand ambassador by building and maintaining the Blue Apron employment brand

  • Passionate about candidate experience

  • Utilizes systems and processes to track and support metrics for internal stakeholders

  • Responsible for end to end candidate experience

  • Scheduling interviews and phone screens working directly with candidates and hiring managers, in some cases arranging travel for visiting candidates

  • Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email

  • Coordinating the post-interview debrief meetings and providing debrief materials

  • Identifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency

  • Updating candidate records in recruiting systems

  • Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed

  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management; conducts in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences

  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting

  • Possess strong ability to screen and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline

  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings

  • Possess strong ability to partner with cross functional teams to deliver a pipeline of both internal and external candidates

NECESSARY INGREDIENTS 

  • Minimum of 2 years of  experience in a fast-paced recruiting environment with experience that includes prioritizing and managing multiple searches and processes

  • Understanding of the full recruitment life cycle process (managing the internal/external process, extending an offer and closing a candidate)

  • Ability to communicate, interact, influence and negotiate with a variety of internal clients and external candidates

  • Strong team player who demonstrates interest and ability in contributing to the recruiting team success

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask, highly organized, detail oriented

  • Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in the workplace

  • Experience with applicant tracking system 

  • Ability to problem solve and work autonomously with a sense of urgency

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
